Classic White Wedding at Serra Plaza

Alyssa and Garrett met on the second story of Serra Plaza for their first look after getting ready with their bridesmaids and groomsmen. On the count of three, Garrett turned to see his beautiful bride standing before him in a white wedding dress. Sweet compliments were shared as the two embraced. After the intimate moment, the bride and groom and their bridesmaids and groomsmen headed over to Mission San Juan Capistrano for group pictures before the ceremony.

Guests arrived in the Courtyard, signed Garrett and Alyssa’s guest book, then took a seat under the shade of nearby trees and sparkling chandeliers. Once everyone was in attendance, the wedding party made their entrances ending with Alyssa. In front of all their closest friends and loving family, the bride and groom read handwritten vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons, Crab Cakes, and Lemon Parmesan Artichoke Hearts made their rounds while the bar served Aperol Spritz and Moscow Mule signature drinks. Guests mixed and mingled, and once the sun set, they checked the seating chart and headed back to the Courtyard for reception.

Tables were topped in white floral arrangements and candlesticks that created a romantic glow. Alyssa and Garrett made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, and took a seat at their sweetheart table. Santorini Chicken, Tri-Tip Carvery, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, Grilled Marinated Vegetables and Caesar Salad was served while family and friends shared toasts. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Selena. After dinner, the newlyweds cut into their two-tiered marble cake and invited guests to indulge in our Tropical Dessert Station with a collection of Pineapple Upside Down Cakes, Mango and Passion Fruit Macarons, Seven Layer Coconut Bars, Tropical Fruit Tarts, and Banana Passion Fruit Cream Puffs. The evening ended with guest watercolor portraits, a hot dog stand late night snack, and plenty of dancing!
